GUARANTEE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Fixed restorations: 
Dental implants 3i (product only): 5 years
Crowns/ bridges (temporaries not included): 3 years
Inlays/ onlays (temporaries not included): 2 years
Veneers: 2 years
Composite fillings: 2 years

Removable restorations:
Frame (chrome) dentures: 2 years
Partial dentures: 2 years
Full dentures: 1 year 

Dental Prestige is not liable for any unforeseen root canal treatment while preparing teeth for crowns or bridgework. Occasionally teeth may suffer preparation trauma during grinding (preparation for crowns and bridges) resulting in the necessity of root canal treatment afterwards.

Extent of guarantee
In the unlikely event of failure or defects in our dental laboratory work, Dental Prestige agree to reimburse the cost of return flight (agreed date and airlines) and carry out a remedial work with no extra cost. In case of small adjustments you can visit your local dentist and forward your bill to Dental Prestige for reimbursement. Dental Prestige allocates €50 for repairs such as re-cementing crowns, denture or partial denture adjustment. 

Exclusion of guarantee:
1. After-treatments, e.g. suture removal. 
2. Temporaries (temporary crowns, bridges, immediate dentures, temporary fillings).
3. Dental works performed on patient’s demand even though patient was informed the guarantee would be reduced or invalidated.

The guarantee will be reduced or invalidated under following circumstances:
1. Oral hygiene is neglected or dentists’ instructions are not followed.
2. If at the moment of returning denture/ finishing restoration patient has had other dental defects, the guarantee is reduced to 6 months. If patient will have all above mentioned defects supplemented within 6 months the guarantee may be extended. 
3. Improper maintenance or use of dentures. 
4. Non- attendance to a routine check-up at least once a year.
5. Substantial loss or increase in weight within a short period of time.
6. Natural decline of gum tissue or jaw bone.  
7. Injury caused by accidents, accidental damage (e.g. dropping), sports or any third party. 
8. Presence of a general illness with unfavourable effects on the chewing organ (e.g. diabetes, epilepsy, and osteoporosis, condition after radiation or chemotherapy). 
9. Patient is a smoker.
10. Not notifying Dental Prestige at once any failure or defect was noticed (prior to exercise their guarantee).  

Exercising the guarantee:
1. The guarantee can be claimed at Dental Prestige Clinic only after prior notice.
2. The guarantee services can be completed and agreed travel expenses covered only after evaluation of the situation.
3. The above mentioned terms and conditions are valid only for the clients of Dental Prestige and concern only dental work performed at Dental Prestige Clinic.
